All's Fair in Love and Villainy (Part 1)

Another day of Playing Just To Play.  This is good.  I needed a recharge amidst all my building.

My sims' life dramas all seemed to revolve around love interests (and the inevitable rivalries) these past couple days.

That teen party the son threw?  He managed to find himself a girl there.  Someone who wasn't just gonna mock the goth-boy like everyone else, and is even a fellow Animal Lover so understands his need to rant about dogs and cats all day.

He even let her ride his horse.  She seemed suitably terrified about finding herself on the back of a unicorn.  Which was adorable.

But of course, just as he worked up the nerve to make his move...

BUSTED!  (Apparently the teen party he and his crush were ignoring got a little out of hand...)

While he was off being grounded, I kept getting story progression notices about the new crush getting together with one of the other boys in school.  By the time Shade earned his freedom from parental scorn, she and the Rival Guy were going steady.

Of course there was only one thing I could do about that... invite her out and steal her back.

Nothing like a rendezvous under the docks to set the mood, eh?

And then go out and egg the rival guy's house.

Made himself a nice little enemy, Shade has.

Totally worth it though.  Now he gets to run around putting on gratuitous public displays of affection.

But that's all teen drama.  The real fun is revolving around Rival Boy's uncle, Shaw Blightwood, the guy who usurped Kali as Emperor of Evil in this town.

I can see why Kali doesn't mind.  Hello there, Mr. Blightwood.  My, you have a nice... everything...

Actually, there appear to be a lot of reasons why Kali let him live.  Not only is he both evil enough and bold enough for the job, they...

... well...

Originally, I thought it a clear-cut case of keeping your friends close and your enemies closer.

But no, it appears to be genuine.  Complicated, but genuine.

If things were different, it'd be easy enough for them to simply get together and rule the criminal empire side-by-side.  But as they are, the rules that govern the Sim Universe say that this can only happen if they're in the same household.  And they're both married to other people.

So what do two criminal masterminds in love do?

Why, plot against the spouses, of course...

  1. She hides it extremely well but she's really a Hopeless Romantic. Or, maybe just more of a horndog than most men, and I say that with the upmost respect.

HAha, I love Kali. I still got me some plans for her. She is... in the notes.

  2. I don't see why she can't be both.

    Also, *points up*.
